For our discussion question, I want to focus on the most dangerous group of the three – Feeding and Eating Disorders. More specifically, Anorexia Nervosa, and Bulimia Nervosa. These disorders can be deadly for several reasons. For our discussion question this week, first outline the similarities and differences between AN and BN. DSM 5 criteria will give you several points to highlight, but be aware that differences in family dynamics can be noteworthy, and that Bulimia does not always include purging, and that anorexia in some cases may include purging. These similarities and differences can be subtle but important.
