The corporate case study gives students an opportunity to put themselves in the shoes of a corporate executive while applying many of the class frameworks.Students will read a sustainability-focused case and complete a worksheet to help outline the potential solutions to the central problem in the case.The ensuing paper will be a concise recommendation, supported by evidence from the case, which is to be written to the executive featured in the case.Students will develop writing and analytical skills while making a persuasive argument.

• You should approach the case as if you are consulting to the organization at the time of the case issue (not in the current year). Therefore, the way you write the paper and the references you use should be based on this timeframe.
• No more than two (2) pages in length plus the appendix(ices) and reference page.
• Write your recommendation to the company in the third person (i.e. refrain from using “I”, “me”, “you” – instead say “IKEA should”, “he/she should”).
• Paper must be typed, double-spaced, 12-point font and margins should be set at one-inch on all four sides.
• Attach the “Harvard Case Assessment Tool” as an Appendix(ices) after the two pages of the case.
• Attach your “References” page (APA format) after the “Appendix”
• Your “References” page should include the case, other required sources, and any other sources you cite in your paper and strategic analysis.
